I’ve gotten a few question about “The Cherry Lola Treatment” So I thought I would address them all in one post.

Where can I get Braggs?

You can usually purchase Braggs at Whole Foods, Fresh and Wild or other Health /Organic store. I know that these stores are few and far between especially in the UK so you can also pick it up online for a decent price. Buy Braggs here in the UKand Buy Braggs in the US hereif you are in the US or in Canada

Can I use regular soy sauce?

I’m going to say no to this. Depending on the brand, ordinary soy sauce has all sorts of additional ingredients in it. Salt, colourings, flavorings. I won’t eat plain soy sauce, so I won’t put it in my hair either.

What happens when you mix it up?

I put the yogurt in a bowl, followed by the amino acids. I stir them together and then add the baking soda, mixing well. The mixture should become aerated- and should look like foam or mousse.

Do you apply it to dry hair or after you co-wash

I apply to dry hair.

How long do you leave it in before you rinse it out?

I leave it on for about 25- 45 Minutes, but to be honest one ce the hair is saturated my curls start to pop right away, so I think even a few minutes is fine.

When it’s in your hair, do you comb it through for even distribution?

No. I just finger comb until all my hair is saturated, sliding my fingers over the curls as they start to form.

Do you put anything in your hair after you rinse the mixture out?

I co-wash with one of my cheapie conditioners. Sometimes I do a semi deep treatment after using Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose, or my handmade conditioner for about 10 minutes. Then I styled with Beauty Formulas Henna Treatment Wax or again my handmade conditioner as I normally do.
